Kandilli Observatory on the Asian shore, at work since 1868: the earthquake research institute, its observatories and the Kandilli dorm.
How to get there
M2 to Levent, M6 to Hisarüstü, the F4 funicular to Aşiyan, the ferry to Anadolu Hisarı, then bus 14R up to the observatory. In Kampuse you set out from İTÜ Ayazağa, on the real lines.
